SUMMER MENTORSHIPS BEGIN ON SATURDAY (TOMORROW!)
Your career as a successful illustrator begins here. Don’t just learn how the pros work, work with the pros. This ten-week online class is a hands-on deep dive into picture-making and drawing. Alongside your mentor, you’ll explore the complexities of working with different media, applying color, drawing with shape, and controlling light. Guest speakers will join you with decades of combined experience drawing for the biggest names in the industry. This summer, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with Alisa Kwitney, Leslie Cober-Gentry, and Adam Gustavson as well as the Concept Art program guest speakers, Naomi Baker, Sven Bybee, and Marc-Ross Michaud!

2. WHAT WE’RE WATCHING THIS WEEKEND
We are excited to to join Timmy (from his Scamp camper on a California beach), John, Cassandra Loomis Kim, Don Kilpatrick, and Terry Brown for this week’s #illustrationisolation. What could be better if you can’t think of anything to draw than to watch our favorite artists draw?
3. A (VIRTUAL) VISIT TO THE MOMA
We thought that a trip to a museum would be the perfect way to kick-off the weekend! Based on our discussion last night during #illustrationisolation, we found the vehicle collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City that Terry Brown visited and discussed! We love the variety of inspiration that the MOMA includes in their collection. Let us know what your favorite vehicle in the collection is in the comments.
