Exciting News: Steven Walker Joins Visual Arts Passage as Guest Speaker for Summer Fine Arts and Illustration Courses
Visual Arts Passage is thrilled to announce that Steven S. Walker, an acclaimed fine artist and gallery painter, will be joining our upcoming fine arts and illustration courses this summer as a guest speaker. This is a unique opportunity for our students to gain insights and inspiration from one of the most respected artists in the field.
About Steven S. Walker
Steven Walker has been creating inspiring works of art for corporations and private collectors for over twenty years. With a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University, where he concentrated on illustration, and a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from Marywood University, Steven has a profound academic and practical understanding of the arts.
As a full-time artist, Steven has participated in numerous local and national juried competitions, including the Oil Painters of America Eastern Regional, Salon, and National exhibitions, among many others. His work has been featured in statewide traveling exhibitions with the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and prestigious plein air events like Plein Air South, Forgotten Coast Plein Air, Georgia Colors, and the Olmsted Invitational. Recently, Steven achieved signature status in the Oil Painters of America, further solidifying his standing in the art community.
Steven’s dedication to his craft is evident in his extensive portfolio, which is represented in over ten galleries across the United States. His successful career is supported by his wife, Evelyn, and his studio assistant and daughter, Poppy, whom he credits as the real heroes behind his success.
