The Visual Scout: Foundations FAQ (LAST DAY TO ENROLL!)
WHAT IS FOUNDATIONS?
The newest course from Visual Arts Passage, Foundations, covers the essentials of visual arts, offering you personal coaching & guidance over five weeks of 3-hour classes. It has quickly become our most popular course because Foundations is all about creating a personalized experience, no matter where you are in your art career. It’s a spring to jump into our more advanced courses, and helps you set up meaningful relationships with our mentors and fellow students.
This class all about what YOU want to do. We will schedule weekly one-on-one meetings, portfolio reviews, and group critiques. All of these help you hone your voice, your artistic vision, and invaluable skillset.
The five-week course covers sketching, drawing, and the necessary skills to understand the foundations of illustration. Foundations is led by one industry-vetted mentor, along with our co-founder, John English. You will dive into picture-making, illustration, digital art, editorial projects, and your personal portfolio.
