About this critique: The following is a 12 minute segment from Portfolio & Career Development. The full session was 3 hours, including a full lecture/demo along with critiques of each students work. All of our courses feature a balance of lecture, demonstration, and feedback.
About the Instructors: This course was co-taught by illustrators and painters, Iris Compiet and John English. John has decades of experience as a gallery artist and editorial illustrator. Iris Compiet is an internationally recognized illustrator and concept artist whose work blends narrative illustration with genre storytelling across games, publishing, and entertainment. Together, they bring a rare balance of classical foundations and contemporary visual storytelling.
