David is an illustrator of children’s books and an illustraton instructor at Pacific Northwest College of Art. He has created trade picture books, chapter book series and book covers for clients like Scholastic, Random House, Viking, Charlesbridge, Bloomsbury USA, among others. His work has been recognized by Society of Illustrators NY, Society of Illustrators LA, 3x3, Creative Quarterly, Communication Arts, Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. His days are spent in the studio imagining what it would be like to be someone else, doing something else – and then he paints it.
